The Department of Hindi was established in the year 2006. It offers programmes at undergraduate (B.A.) and post graduate (M.A.) level. The post-graduate scheme was initiated in the year 2009 with allocation of 40 seats. The Department focuses on teaching of linguistics and grammatical aspects of Hindi Language.
